October fiestas + Paella recepie
October in Spain – Two Days Full of Tradition and Celebration October is a wonderful time to be in Spain. The temperatures are still pleasant, restaurants are full of life and there are plenty of traditions and celebrations to discover. The 8th and 12th of October are particularly interesting dates, especially here on the Costa Blanca and in the Valencia region. 💙 8 October – Celebrating Valencia The 9th of October is Día de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Day of the Valencian Community. For a moment, it felt like the evening had slowed down a little. There is something quite amazing about standing by the Mediterranean, looking up at the sky and knowing that people all over Spain were watching the same thing. Costa Blanca is famous for its beaches, warm evenings and beautiful sunsets. But every now and then, nature gives us something
